TONIGHT
The first Patty Murray-Dino Rossi debate takes place in Spokane. The best part is you don’t even have to drive there. Eli will be liveblogging it on Slog! (Watch on KCTS, 7 to 9 p.m., free)
1st District state rep candidate Luis Moscoso is hosting what sounds like a cool fundraiser. Guests include Congressman Jay Inslee and a bunch of Mountlake Terrace politicos. There’s going to be live music from a group called the Blind Hobos and classic American fare, including a build-your-own-burger bar, provided by the Red Onion. So gather up your bindle and go support Luis Moscoso hobo-style! (American Legion Hall, 22909 56th Avenue West, 6 to 8:30 p.m., suggested donation of $25/$40 for couples)
FRIDAY
So it’s not exactly the TGIF murderers’ row that was Family Matters, Boy Meets World, and Step by Step, but a candidate meet-and-greet followed by consecutive one-hour debates on initiatives 1098 and 1100/1105 is nothing to sneeze at on a Friday night. Bill Gates Sr. will be presenting the Yes on 1098 position. Bring Your Own Booze. (Life Enrichment Bookstore, 5023 Rainier Ave. S., 5 to 8 p.m., free)
SATURDAY
Don’t call it a debate. Debate-dodging incumbent Rep. Dave “Man with the Screaming Brain” Reichert and challenger Suzan DelBene meet up in Newcastle for a candidate forum. (The Golf Club at Newcastle, 9 a.m. to noon, RSVP here)
SUNDAY
Murray-Rossi 2: Electric Boogaloo. The two Senate contenders square off again. Just like the first debate, the best part is that you don’t even have to drive to Spokane. (Watch on KOMO, 7 to 9 p.m., free)

Technically it will be on KOMO 4.2 (digital channel) for those with QAM Tuners or UHF Antennas.
For Comcast users, its channel 114.
What, no footie games?
@ Will — I congratulated Sounders FC on their playoff bid in the morning links this weekend and you didn’t even say anything.
Luis Moscoso is good folks, and the fundraiser does sound like a great party. I wish I were free to go to it. He’ll make a great state representative.
