Mohamed Said needs to change his last name if he wants to be quoted in Western media. “Said said” just seems awkward.
Based on the price of oil falling from $145 to $35, I would wager the owners staged the kidnapping to collect the insurance.

People forget the US Marines were formed, and the US Navy created, solely to fight pirates.
Until we start bombarding and setting ablaze all ports and facilities used by the pirates, neither the US Navy nor the US Marines are doing their jobs.
