“invite her”?
Halloween is just getting stupider and stupider each year.
Now I know what to wear to the next Decemberists concert.
Its racist AND tacky! The perfect costume for your drunken frat boy halloween party!
Pretty much any costume I put on turns into a “Big Wood” costume.
“So you’re supposed to be one of the Village People, right?”
@6, just what I was thinking.
You’d think with a name like “Big Wood” the costume would come with a stuffed sock sewn into one leg. Instead it’s just lame.
@7 – I know! I spent longer than I’d like to admit staring at his crotch, trying to find the penis joke.
The way you guys see a costume like this is how cosplayers see all storebought bag costumes.
@10, AMEN!!!!! There is nothing cute or charming about an adult reliving their childhood. Especially since that revival is not embracing the positive parts of childhood (wonderment of the world and curiosity) but instead is the self-centered “pay attention to ME ME ME ME!!” part of it.
This costume was better when it was called Sasquatch Music Festival 2011.
Rascist! Along with: http://thesocietypages.org/socimages/200…
To be fair, 13, some of those costumes are portraying images cultivated by specific groups (not races) of people, like geishas and rappers. Rappers do kinda tend to go for a certain look. Plus, Americans dress as all kinds of prostitutes and courtesans for Halloween. Why not some from Japan?
Would it be racist if an American of Indian descent dressed up as Snooki?
9: What a coincidence, this is how I see all cosplayers.
I dunno. It’s a little subtle.
“Horrors” is definitely the correct tag here.
