Everybody is always talking about how China (or is that Japan?) is way ahead of the U.S. in education. Well, they’re only half right! They’re pretty good at immature classroom practical jokes, but WHAT IS UP with their fighting technique? (I watched the last five seconds of this at least 30 times, and I still can’t believe it. If I were the dad of the kid in black, I’d send him straight to the iPhone factory.)

  1. China is “kicking our butt” in education because they don’t educate the children of poor and migrant families. If we want to test only the children of our upper middle class kids, I’m certain we’d win. Also, we win on things like due process, relatively free elections, and economic freedom. Minor things, but still.

  2. HAHA!!! I love this video. I don’t understand why that kid decides to hank his hoodie off before fighting though. It has a zipper, kid!!!

  3. @2, in addition, you could compare the list of major intellectual innovations produced by graduates of the respective educational systems. Not by patents, but by ideas for products and services. US: iPhone, iPad, Kindle, Google, eBay, Amazon, Facebook, just off the top of my head. China: nada.
