In Greece, an angry mob literally trashed a Christmas tree to protest the death of a 15-year-old boy. The video is worthwhile viewing, especially for the previous Christmas tree, which the rioters burned to a crisp.

Was that Jake Gyllenhaal?
This is still going on? Jesus Christ.
Damn you tree! How dare you let the police shoot that kid!
Before you trash the Greeks, please note that Christmas trees have nothing to do with Christmas.
They are not Christian.
They are not Greek.
They are a remnant of Germanic paganism.
This is in a way a rebuke to the EU, whose policies are determined by Northern Europeans, while Southern Europe gets screwed in the currency conversion. They keep talking about the teenager – it’s not just about the kid. It’s about the economy, the 600-euro youth and the 200-euro pensioners.
Also – bear in mind that St. Nick was from what is now Turkey. And he had nothing to do with toys for kids or “Bad Santa” (a great film, nevertheless) – he was involved in rescuing women from prostitution, and in saving sailors.
Bill O’Reilly better get on that quick.
