I’m sorry I didn’t alert you to this in time for you to go: February 12th through the 15th was the annual Show Me Clowns for Jesus Convention in Missouri. It was a weekend intended to:
Cultivate learning opportunities to develop and refine Christian clowning skills.
Encourage high ethical, professional, and Christian clown standards.
Promote clowning as a ministry to bring joy and the love of Jesus to others
Here are just two and a half hours of one day of the convention:

I promise to be more aware of Christian Clowning issues and opportunities in the future.

Missouri’s major exports include black walnuts, wine, and Christian clowns. The fact that so few are aware of this is the travesty of the last decade. In order to survive, Missouri must step out from the shadow of ignorance that envelopes the south.

Christian Clowning sounds pedo-rific.
Jesus! I hate clowns!
That makes me feel like one of the Martians in Mars Attacks just as Slim Whitman starts to yodel.
We had a clown group lead worship at my church a couple years ago. The really old folks loved it, and the little kids loved it (at least the ones who weren’t afraid of clowns). The rest of us just kind of looked around uncomfortably, and glanced at our watches more often than usual.
We turned down their offer to return the next year.
i found a collection of christian clown/mime how-to books at the ballard goodwill. the photo-tutorials were so creepy, i had nightmares.
Paul, we forgive you. And we’ll start a prayer circle for you. If you’re Catholic, I’ll pass the plate to buy you an indulgence
I still advocate that the holy spirit be mocked with the intent of keeping people away from jesus.
Children’s Hospital just let go all of the clowns. Donations are way down. You know. If I was a sick kid I’m not sure if a clown would cheer me up.
You would not believe the dirty things those christian clown chicks do!I go to this convention every year to get my balloon animal inflated!
I’m not sure I want my head up a balloon.
Screw you, Paul. I was really counting on you this year to remind me of this.
