The Associated Press on the tiny foot and other body parts removed from a tumor in newborn’s brain.

A pediatric neurosurgeon says a tumor he removed from the brain of a Colorado Springs infant contained a tiny foot and other partially formed body parts. Dr. Paul Grabb said that while removing the growth, he discovered it contained a nearly perfect foot and the formation of another foot, a hand and a thigh. “It looked like the breach delivery of a baby, coming out of the brain,” Grabb said. “To find a perfectly formed structure (like this) is extremely unique, unusual, borderline unheard of.”

The operated-upon newborn is en route to a full recovery.

I haven’t looked at the pic’s yet, but I don’t know how long I can stand it.

  7. Was it Schmader who posted about the second penis growing out of a baby’s back (the only manifest part of an otherwise absent twin)?

Don’t know where they draw the line between a teratoma and a partial twin.
