… do yourself a favor: Go here, download their card/printout thingy, take it out with you, and save a whole bunch of loot on a whole bunch of stuff. Disclaimer: I sometimes work at one of the bars participating in this event, but I promise not to work during it.

ya and what do you do with our email addresses after we fork them over
Fuck. That.
I’m a little disappointed in you, Grant.
Just give me money off, don’t make me jump through hoops and get a stupid ass card. Plus the whole support local business nativism is just plain stupid.
I would give local businesses money if the fucking bus system — which I got off work and hour and a half early to use in order to make sure that I would get there before the store closed — did not screw up three different bus schedules in a row (one classily pulling away as I chased it), getting me there JUST after they shut down the register.
I’m so pissed off, and the store is so hard to get to with where I work and my schedule, that I’m just giving up on it and not doing any of my Christmas shopping there, even though I had planned to pick things up for three or four people.
@3 – the whole support local business nativism is stupid? Hardly. There are lots of local businesses that provide great products and services that I use and enjoy, and I’m happy to give them my business.
But yeah, I agree that this card idea is totally superfluous and unnecessary.
gosh.. so much negativity… calm down seattle.. calm the f down:)<3 crystal
