I laughed.

And I would enter McFeely’s through the rear if McFeely’s back exit were still an entry. But all that’s left of McFeely’s is the signage.

  1. If you like that you should go to Santa Cruz, CA and visit the “Holy Christ I’m Choking On My Own Feces Sub Sandwich and T-Shirt Shop”

  2. This is exactly the type of humor my side of the family is known for. We still laugh at burps and farts. My 2 year old niece was cracking up the other day and I asked her what was so funny. She said “I pooft” and giggled. My sister-in-law, her grandmother, looked at her rather sternly and told her “That’s not funny!” and she giggled some more and said “Yes it is!”. Her and I laughed for about 10 minutes straight much to the chagrin of my S-I-L glaring at me.

  3. despicable me, I think we have a responsibility to set a bad example for the next generation, because we know how and will do it well. Imagine if that were left in the hands of a rookie?? (My sister in law used to tell me it made it difficult for her to set rules for her children when I was dying my son’s hair green at the age of 10…)

    Danny,

Do you support the right of polygamists to marry the ones they love?

  5. Honestly Canuck, if we don’t do it who will? I mean really, no one in my SIL’s family is going to pass this down to the little ones. We have a responsibility to carry on family traditions and there is no better time to start than when they’re young and impressionable.

  6. It’s been years since I’ve been there, but I believe the bar slogan is/was ‘Relax freely at McFeely’s.’ Assuming that this is the Walla^2 McFeely’s.

  7. I think of Mr. McFeeley, the delivery man from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, when I see that name. If he ever made any deliveries through the back entrance, they kept it on the down low.

  8. Relax Freely at McFeely’s – that place was a dive and a half, more if a cave than a bar. What are you doing in Walla Walla?
