  1. Not clever, or well done.

You could put some effort into it. This looks like it took maybe 1-2 hours to do.

You’re not as funny as you think, Dan.

  2. I love it! Keep it up. Today people like Ms. Gitner are on local TV, next year they have a job on a national network asking similar insipid questions designed to take down progressive leaders and projects.

I don’t care much about the Centre she was asking questions about, but I do care that she was peddling smears in the guise of journalists. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. The goal of a better news media begins with correcting (or the firing of) a single journalist.

  3. I am really shocked that a local newscaster —in this market!— would be sucking off goats in her spare time.
Is this what KOMO pays her for? Recreational bestiality? The horror! I can only imagine Mr. C.T. Mudede will make another disgusting film about this rampant amoralism in our very own Emerald City.
She should be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail. Harrumph.
    Disgustedly Yours,

  4. I do care about the Centre she’s slandering.
Ginter is arousing false ire, and then channelling this egregiously manipulated anger at something that deserves neither anger, nor negative attention.

Why is she willing to tell literal lies?

Does she not realize that she negatively affects hundreds of people with these lies?

Her actions damage not only the people who maintain the non-profit Centre, nor the volunteers who keep it running, nor even the members who benefit from the education and the freedom; but also the now-angry citizens who may choose take negative action against something the does not hurt them in the slightest; action based on a complete and utter lie committed by one foolish person.

For fucking shame, Gitner. For fucking shame.

  5. La Chupacabra strikes again! Maybe!

Seriously though, this isn’t very funny. I mean, “sucks off goats” is the best you could do? Seriously?

  6. This is delightful mockery, and well deserved. And why should the Stranger expend more than an hour or two’s effort. Ginter obviously didn’t spend much more time doing her hit piece on KOMO, and clearly didn’t walk more than a couple of blocks to interview some idiot “man on the street” types.

Regardless of whether or not I support the center, her piece was full of outright lies and errors, was extremely biased, and manipulative. It wasn’t journalism. It was a hit piece. She’s a hack, and deserves all the mockery she is getting.

  7. ha! i love “it wasn’t consensual. the age of consent is 18. i don’t think goats live that long” hilarious! get that woman her own TV show

  8. Using the word “might” will not save Dan. It is obvious that this is a malicious attack, not satire. He wants to cause her harm. He wants her to lose her job. He wants her to be harassed. He wants her family to suffer because of his harassment. Anyone who reads this site can tell that this is not satire. If it were satire he would have stopped when people began to threaten her and her family. Instead it only geared him up to do more harm.

To claim that is is simply an adolescent frat-boy wannabe giggle fest would be inaccurate. This is Dan Savage’s malicious attempt to cause harm to someone. Was he named in the story? Was he directly provoked? Has this reporter maliciously tried to ruin his reputation because of his writings? I hope she hires a lawyer, this will be an easy victory.
