I even bought a new plant!

Everyone seems to think this desk is Lindy’s desk. But it is not. Lindy’s desk really is covered in beach sand (just as Fnarf pictures it to be).

It was my desk that was the cluttered, pig pen of a desk covered with four-and-a-half-inch-high piles of diet soda cans, Fiji water bottles (I do NOT want to be Tom Cruise, by the way), and dozens of unopened CDs (WHY DO PEOPLE STILL SEND ME CDs? STOP IT. SEND A LINK.), books, and other crap.

Lindy is innocent. I’m sorry my desk was so disgusting.

And look, I cleaned!

I even bought a new plant!

  1. Yay! i guessed Lindy’s too, fwiw. Glad you cleaned yr desk Megan!, public humiliation can be *quite* the motivating factor, apparently. You’re not Catholic by any chance, are you? :>)

    Now, about that Foosball table…

  2. You cleaned your desk because of us? Seriously?

I would have just left it in its naturally messy state and told everyone to fuck off. If you are by nature an untidy person, it won’t stay like this for more than a day or two anyway.

  3. Yeah, I think there should be a betting pool on the lifespan of that plant. I’m in for 11 months, 12 days. Can the prize be a Megan-made cupcake?

  4. I knew I should’ve trusted my Sherlock Holmes-ey instincts when I saw that baking pan on the foosball table. I think my official answer was Lindy though (although I don’t think I actually clicked a vote but whatevs).

  5. Fiji water? Seriously? Megan, I’m disappointed! I’m appalled! I’m morally outraged! Well, maybe not quite outraged, but still… If you absolutely must drink bottled water, at least get something local! Please! Gah! Fiji water transubstantiates into the blood of Mammon in your mouth.

  6. How’d you get stuck with the oldest computer in the office? Are you not jealous of your deskmate’s brand new laptop while you’re still living in 2005?
