I was kind of hoping for an old style New Orleans celebration as Glenn Beck’s picture is carried out on top of a coffin labeled “Insane Conservatism” … with lots of partying and singing.
I tried to watch this on the bus to work today, but couldnt get passed 5 mintes. While he does a great job at impersonating Glenn Beck, its so good, that I found it boring. It takes up almost the entire episode.
Canada’s “Comedy Network” needs to start providing a flash-free way to watch for those of us on mobile devices.

Paul, I feel I must tell you that by posting this video via Hulu, it sneaks around the Canadian Paywall, thereby allowing those of us in Guineapigistan to, for the first time, watch the Daily Show clip on Slog. I know this couldn’t have been your intention, and I’ll understand if you repost directly from Comedy Central, which is blocked for those of us foreigners who care about tunnels in your medium-sized city…
He was on fire. I think the aim was a little broader than just Beck: the Mayan calendar, the completely disingenuous nature of “Fox News” etc. Maybe it was funnier at 11, and maybe there are bigger issues to focus on with the Fed govt on the brink of closing and the ridiculous Republican/Tea Party show. It is a comedy show though, and it was irreverent. I can’t imagine him rehearsing that bit.
