Good thing Jen Graves posted this yesterday!
Like I said yesterday, this image is gibberish.
repetition!
If slog keeps practicing, one day it’ll get to Carnegie Hall!
In real life, the “Right” side is totally preposterous.
There’s nothing “conservative” about endless aggression and militancy, for example, quite the opposite. It’s a massive waste of people, money and resources.
It’s also self-contradictory and illogical to demand that the government stay out of society and social lives while simultaneously expecting the government to micromanage people’s sex lives, relationships and drug usage.
They should replace the label “Right” with “Cognitive Dissonance.”
Dangit. Sorry for the repost. As you were.
I think I am in love with Beetlecat’s outsized wit!
Potentially Dumb Question:
Why the color switch? Why is the Left represented in Red and the Right Blue? Am I reading this wrong? You would think they would stay true to the visual rhetoric.
http://politicalcompass.org probably represents the diversity in political theory more accurately.
@7 From the authors’ notes “There are two versions with different colours: a US and a World version. This is because the US and Switzerland are the only countries in the world where red = right wing and blue = left wing. Grrr!”
I’ll try the US version link here:
