You mean to say Gaddafi is not in Zimbabwe or Venezuela? He is still in Tripoli? He is so toast:

A group of rebels besieging a cluster of apartment buildings near the compound of Muammar Gaddafi said they believed the man who led Libya for four decades was hiding in the buildings with some of his sons.

Rebels were exchanging fire with Gaddafi loyalists inside the buildings.

  1. The Libyan rebels have already proven that they’re not exactly what you’d call a reliable source. I guess time will tell.

  2. I wouldn’t be surprised- It takes a certain kind of ego to be a totalitarian dictator, and with that comes the sort of delusions of grandeur that would keep him from leaving and admitting defeat.

  3. i think the desert compound, 300, 400 miles south of tripoli might have been a better choice. or saudi arabia. he’s headed for mussolini/ceacescu territory.
