Ah…..this is called too stupid to live. The 911 operator should have said,”Too bad, you’re screwed”
at least she didn’t call to complain about not getting enough shrimp.

It never ceases to amaze me how often people continually fail to live up to their already low expectations.
This is why I want detroit to start remanufacturing cars without power everything. Convinience inventions (dishwashers, segways, power door locks, automatic transmission, microwave food) simply make people start forgetting how to live.
The door has two completely separate means of achieving the same exact task — unlocking the door. Like most people, she only ever uses one of the two. It’s surprising and funny that she didn’t know about the other one, but it’s not an especially good indication that she’s a stupid person. Who would expect there to be two different controls, in practically the exact same location, for the exact same thing? We know it’s there because we’ve seen others use it; that doesn’t mean we’re more intelligent.
That operator handled it very well. I bet she had a fucking laugh riot afterwards.
