oh, hush, @5. you’re harshing my mellow. you know how difficult it is to get a video selected by lunchtime quickie? now, off with you, while i enjoy my acknowledgement.
I believe the sound is fake; which is good, because if the dormouse were really making that noise I would worry for it. Internet says the original camera did not capture sound.
But OMG, so cute. Made my day.

Man, you ALL lose! I saw this video way back in 1986 (or maybe ’87. I remember it was during Reagan’s second term anyway.) My buddy had a bootleged copy of it on a betamax tape. He fucked up the sound on it though and halfway through it cuts out completely, so he spliced a ‘Bananarama’ song over the final few seconds.
