On Monday, September 5, Seattle Police officers were called to a shelter on Third Avenue—most likely Compass Housing Alliance, judging from the address—to mediate a reportedly violent dispute between two Dominoes players.

The trouble began later in the afternoon on Labor Day, where two men were engaged in a game of Dominoes inside a downtown shelter. Evidently, the game was a tense one and an argument broke out. The police report fails to mention the cause of the dispute—an accusation of cheating, perhaps?—but tempers reportedly escalated quickly, and the two men took the fight outside. Once there, one of the players allegedly “rushed” his opponent, the police report states, “pinning his arms to his side.”

Then things got weird: According to the report, the suspect “proceeded to bite the victim in the face 3 [sic] times breaking the skin each time.”

Fortunately, witnesses were on hand to break up the fight and call in the law. The suspect fled before police arrived and the victim was treated on the scene for his multiple bite wounds (blech).
