  4. Very sad. US funded settlers. If Arab Israelis ever did anything like this, they would be shot on the spot. This is all happening in the occupied West Bank, is not even inside Israel.

    Israel does have a right to exist,and plenty of liberal voices inside Israel are against this, but the insane right wing settler movement has to stop. Remove the Israeli army and I bet you they will stop. Why protect them?

Such as NAACP James Bible flippantly dismissing the seriousness of lil AIesha Baker Stewart attacking a woman her grandmothers age with 3 other black terrorists. Then the “support from the community” the thugs who mauled the Tuba Man to death. I heard an audio of someone telling them not to let the haters get them down, and they have a lot going for them. You’d think they were the victims.

  7. You’d think after having been persecuted for no good reason they’d think twice about persecuting anyone else for no good reason. I liken this to a kid who gets kicked in the nuts so hard he has to get surgery to walk strait, then makes it his life goal to hurt someone as much as he was hurt (daddy would be proud?). History is doomed to repeat itself, these kids have already lost the battle for their minds. For some groups violence is always been the best option, the political climate makes it hard for them to understand anything. It’s much easier to pick on a group of people not similar to yourself, than to understand reality. It’s not their fault they’re ignorant, their government demands it and they simply comply. Someone should start a fund to give these people an internet connection and an imagination before it’s too late. This is their cry for help, it’s time for an intervention of love.

    Indeed, quite sad. Twenty or so years ago when I live in Israel briefly on a moshov (similar to a kibbutz or communal farm only one gets a small wage), I discovered the reactionary element of the settlers. Some were racists. I also visited the Muslim Quarter, not the Occupied Territories per se but talked with a few Palestinians as well. It opened my eyes to a more nuanced nature of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Like @4 but as a conservative I do want a two state solution, a secure & free Israel & Palestine. This kind of march is very provocative. Alas,
    a resolution of this conflict under the Obama Administration will be elusive.

  13. Price Tag violence on the settler side becomes painfully more transparent when the Palestinian side calms down (no intifada, no suicide bombers).

    The closer the two sides come to achiving peace, the more one side will lash out in an attempt to sabotage the process. It comes as no suprise that Israel is actively trying to sabotage Palestines attempt to seek recognition (at the UN) by arresting dozens of suspected terrorists in the West Bank. They hope this will trigger violence in order to shame Fatah as they prepare for UN recognition. They dont bother to do this in Gaza because most of the planet already sees them as terrorists. But Israel is running out of options, so the only thing they can do, is enflame the situation and ignore settlers actions in hopes it sparks violence which gets put on the evening news across America.

  14. Old Jerusalem is not the same as New Jerusalem, and Jerusalem is not the same as the rest of Israel. These right wing Israelis in the video may be symptomatic of a difficult roadblock toward peace, but they certainly don’t speak for everyone. It would be like going to a Glen Beck rally and concluding that the US is made up of 100% racist selfish white people.

    Yes, check with Yankel Rosenbaum’s family about that. Check with the Koreans who had their stores looted then burned by black mobs in the 90’s, and Asians in Phillidelphia who won a civil rights case because the black on asian hate crimes were so high in the schools they stopped going.

  21. It’s a pity because the Palestineans have never done anything whatsoever to provoke this. Like making the preamble to their charter ‘Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.’

    It is a terrible thing to see on both sides. But as long as Palestinean violence and support for groups like Hamas continues, it makes it infinitely easier for Israel to respond in kind. If they spent half the effort they use bitching about Israel to make their own lives better they wouldn’t be in such a shitty situation.

No attacks have come from the West Bank. Get a clue. Theyre in a place thats full of arab christians by the way not even muslims.

  31. @21, Your ignorance is very evident. Israel has stolen Palestinian land in 47/48, expelled by force over 750.000 indigenous Palestinians from their homes and businesses. Now those Palestinians have been living in refugee camps for over 62 years, the rest of Palestinians live under the most brutal and heinous occupation, Palestinians in West Bank have to put up with the most radical Israeli/Jews on the face of this earth, how would you like it, if this happened to you. Israel doesn’t have the right to exist on some one else’s land. Those settlers came from all over the world and replaced indigenous Palestinians, that’s wrong period, may be those settlers should come and live in your house, only then you would know how Palestinians feel….
