  1. @5, the only way a fan can catch a pop fly is by running out onto the field. Hmm, I’m guessing you don’t know what “pop fly” means. A pop foul, now, that’s a possibility?

Is there ANYTHING ON EARTH you aren’t compelled to display your ignorance of?

  2. No, @7, it’s just that Will is such a cretin that it’s easy to make him look stupid. He does most of the work for you.

  3. @11, to be fair, the middle of nowhere, El Salvador, isn’t very far from the middle of everything, El Salvador; the whole country’s about 150 miles long. And their stadium holds 8,000, which isn’t all that much smaller than the dump they’re going to play the San Jose Earthquakes in on Saturday (and is full size for soccer, unlike Buck Shaw; seriously, I was there a week ago and it’s pathetic, like a high school football stadium).

  4. @6 sometimes they bounce off the light poles – almost got one when I was in the 2nd row about five over from the SW corner but it went 2 seats over. Now shut up and revel in their triumph.

  5. Hey, what about covering the Storm, who just equalled the best start in WNBA history? I don’t even care about the whole “the WNBA sucks” argument. At the very least, our team sucks LESS than all the others.

  6. What leek @4 said. Also, tee-hee-hee, Fnarf @6. I recently switched to Firefox to run that infamous script, but with your commentary I still get to experience the best ones without having to read all of ’em.

  7. @13, as Action Slacks @19 points out, your understanding of what “pop fly” means is even further from reality than previously indicated.

Frankly, it’s a miracle that you can dress and feed yourself.

  8. 1. Catch a pop fly (somehow).
    2. ???
    3. PROFIT!!!

It’s easy to catch a pop fly. Just leave your pop sitting out open, and open the screens. You’ll catch plenty of flies, but you won’t want to drink the pop afterward.

  9. @20, first, there’s no such thing as a miracle (yes, I’m aware of the ’69 Mets), and second, do you know for a fact that he can do both of these things?
