Excellent point as always, YouTube comments:

If this doesn’t make you laugh… you might want to seriously consider investing in a sense of humor : p. I don’t know how she does it, but it sure as hell is one of the funniest noises I have ever heard anyone make, lmao. I have to admit that I’m jealous because that is definitely one of the sounds I wish I could make and add to my personal collection of random sounds : ). Hope all is well with all of you!

(Has anyone else been hearing Marilyn’s beeping in the back of their brain since they saw her on Talk Soup in like 1998? OR IS IT JUST ME?)

Lindy West was born an unremarkable female baby in Seattle, Washington. The former Stranger writer covered movies, movie stars, exclamation points, lady stuff, large frightening fish, and much, much more....

  1. This is the first I’ve seen of her – I spent 1998 upside down in a mezcal barrel. She’s got a Harpo Marx gurning cheerfulness, for sure.

  2. My father laughs exactly like Muttley (Mumbly) the dog. Like a wheezy evil-child cartoon character.

    He can’t help it, like this braying woman (god bless her). Also, like her, he stops conversation and traffic anywhere we can get him going. My dad gave me some good-ass genes; but I feel ashamedly lucky that I laugh like “ha ha ha”.

    @6. Word.

  3. I don’t care what she looks like or how old she is (let me get that out of the way first), but isn’t anyone wondering what she sounds like having sex? Dammit, where’s that video?

  4. I had a high school friend who sneezed backwards. Literally. She said “Choo-Ah.” I couldn’t believe it the first time I heard it. It was a lot cuter than this braying.

  5. Forget Talk Soup in 1998. These women were on America’s Funniest People (‘member that Funniest Home Videos spinoff?) in the early 90s.

    And in my defense, I only watched that show, and even liked it for a while, because I was I was a stupid kid at the time.
