After Social Equality Educators were escorted out of the house viewing gallery for announcing citizens’ arrest warrants for legislatures legislators, they gave a departing mic check:

I spoke to a state trooper who said, “That was a really thoughtful closing message. I really appreciate that. We’re in a tough position here.”

  1. some cops are in a tough position

    but i will always judge them by the weakest link — those in full riot gear casually spraying chemicals into peaceful crowds

  3. The WaSPs are great. The organization has had some black marks over the years, but my interactions with them professionally and personally have always been positive.

    @2 – I guess you didn’t look at the starting salaries? About the same as teachers, and their work is arguable more dangerous.

  4. This was our group that did this. We engaged with them awhile after getting kicked out of the chamber. They were more than patient and compliant. Glad they appreciated it.
