It really is true; the terrorists in al-Qaida are interchangeable with Hollywood scriptwriters:
(Wired) One suggestion: constructing an “ultimate mowing machine” — tricking out a pickup truck by welding “blades” to the grill, to “mow down the enemies of Allah.”
…“Bin Laden said this is something he did not endorse. He seems taken aback,” a U.S. counterterrorism official tells ProPublica. “He complains that this tactical proposal promotes indiscriminate slaughter. He says he rejects this and it is not something that reflects what al-Qaida does.”
In this terror plot, there is a little Christine, a little Duel, and a little Texas Chain Saw Massacre. However, the man who greenlighted the plot to destroy the Twin Towers with passenger planes apparently thought the monster truck plot was a bit too gory. He turned it down.
As a potential victim of a terrorist attack, I’d much rather face a roaring truck with spinning blades of death than being in a room on the top floor of a building that’s about to get slammed by a massive jet plane. I have a chance with the truck; I have no chance with the plane.

Hahaha, I can see where he got his influence from

Under the Pentagon’s own rules for engagement, the twin towers were a legitimate military target.
Just sayin’.
@2: Can you specify why and how?
