The Penny Arcade Expo—essentially a comic book convention for video game nerds—is in town this weekend, but unless you’ve already bought tickets, you’re shit out of luck.
The event is apparently completely sold out, which means you won’t get to stand in line to play exciting new games like this one:
PAX is asking that you “please please please do not come to the Convention Center” unless you have tickets. Coverage of what you’re missing can be found here.

I just passed the convention center and yes, it’s packed.
Just to get into a panel you had to start lining up this morning.
Is this like when the Grateful Dead used to beg people not to come hang out in the parking lot at their shows if they didn’t have a ticket?
Nerd heads.
ExciteBike = Most. Addicting. Game. Ever. Besides. Tetris.
Jonah, don’t ever write about PAX ever again.
Please.
“[A] comic book convention for video game nerds”? So like… a video game convention?
Ha ha ha! Things that I don’t like are stupid.
Is that what all those red “3-day pass” lanyards were all about today?
