Is Arboretum cruising better or worse when it’s sunny? Or during the week?
Damn. I wish I could play hooky right now.
Do you have a higher res version? This is a great pic but looks blocky on my desktop background.
A fat spliff would also be illegal.
@5: try the ALL SIZES link on flickr and download the largest resolution version:

@7: Thanks; that’s what I get for not reading below the picture.
The trees really are beautiful right now.

nice – how not free is the japanese garden again?
If you are nervous about the fucking election, call other states to get out the fucking vote. You’re going to have a lot better peace of mind on Nov. 5th knowing that you did something besides take a walk in the fucking park.

Ah, I wish some nay-saying schlub would have taken me up on my billion dollar bet that we’d still be seeing plenty of nice weather into late October. Tis quite pleasant today, nay?
Huh. Seattle foliage. Whee.
(insert obligatory snark about how the northwest is lame and the northeast is better)
Thank you, Mr. Holden. After reading your post I packed the kid into the car and went straight over to the arboretum. Walked through the whole thing practically with the kid strapped to me. Kids fucking eat up that nature and shit. Makes me a fucking good dad and whatnot. Thanks!
