It is clear that for many of our members two websites would make things more difficult, so we are going to keep Netflix as one place to go for streaming and DVDs.
This means no change: one website, one account, one password… in other words, no Qwikster.
While the July price change was necessary, we are now done with price changes.
Don’t give the first world problems, especially when they involve convenience, entertainment, and money. These are a few of our favorite things.

If you want people to hand over their money to you for a product/service, you have to make it as easy and painless as possible. Don’t know why they didn’t realize the hassle factor before they went public with Quikster.
So they thought people would like this stupid idea?
No, Dianna, they didn’t. I’m pretty certain they thought of it as a way to spin off a dying-element of their brand before it hurt the brand. Their mistake was not realizing the instant brand hurt their pre-emptive efforts would create…and they’re now folding that back.
Expect the DVD-by-mail aspect of Netflix to be shuttered in less than five years.
(BUT! Until then…ONLY ONE WEBSITE! Hooray!)

FUCK.Consider me one of the four people in the United States who actually uses the mail feature as much as/if not more than the streaming. If they end it, the streaming portion of Netflix would need to be at least… three times as big!
But seriously, what am I supposed to do? Go back to only getting DVDs for gifts on the holidays? Shit at this rate you’ll be telling me Limewire is back. All I need is to reconnect my 56k modem and the circle will be complete!
