  1. Now since I’m a Seattlite, how can I find something negative in all of this?

Goddamit it hate fucking offshore flow weather patterns!

  2. And now for Google type ahead lookups

Type in “i am c” in your browser search box:

    i am charlotte simmons

    Type in “i am cr”

    i am crack lyrics
    i am craig owens
    i am crucified with christ
    i am crushed

  3. …and the apple pie on the window sill – maybe god has nothing to do with it – but it’s hard to say ‘thank you ions and atoms for making this view possible – pass the crack pipe and space needle’. Ceresly.

  4. Hey does anyone remember when Christopher blamed his dad’s church as the inspiration for his secret admiration of the child rapist?

  5. These comments are the reason that religious people feel the way they do about the non-believers. You want your seat at the table, but you are not interested in doing anything but condemning the mere mention of God. How are you threatened by someone thanking God for a beautiful sunset – whether you believe in it or NOT. You want to blame the religious for every problem on Earth, but you never for one second think there is anything wrong with your approach to the subject. For you, God doesn’t exist, so the mention of God is an affront to your delicate sensibilities. It is this kind of intolerance that leads the “them and us” mentality that leads to fanaticism. Shame on all of you. Yeah, we’re all for tolerance and equality, except for all the stuff you don’t believe in. Right? Right! Good luck with getting religious people to extend a hand and work together so that everyone’s rights are equal and respected. Instead of you trying to bridge the gap, you set fire to it. Then you cry when believers don’t see things your way. Give me an EFFFING BREAK. Perhaps hydrogen, helium, pollution, and the cosmos will help gays get the right to marry. Perhaps Apollo will smite all the religious people off the planet and leave it to the non-believers.

  6. 27: untwist your knickers. God gets mentioned plenty in every venue possible in america and non-believers have to tolerate it. God’s on the friggin money that non-believers have to use.

the “gap” can’t be bridged because faith is essentially non-rational. monotheisms admit that God is unknowable, yet insist on literal interpretation of texts written by goat herders & edited by Roman Empire bureaucrats.

you don’t see why that makes rational people frustrated?

  7. 25: Air pollution has nothing to do with it.

Look into refraction of light by (clean) air, and you understand.

As usual, a science-clueless environmentalist chimes in.

  8. Well, I think it’s nice. I don’t take “God” to mean whatever Christian deity, which people seem to be freaking out over. I look at “God” as life in general… all of the circumstances that made this planet capable of housing all of us bastards. It could be perhaps for lack of a better word, or the fact that… that is one of it’s definitions. Folks need to chill.

And – I’ve totally done it on the roof of your building! Good stuff.
