Did’ya notice that NOM deleted disabled the comments on their Youtube video? Apparently they’re the only ones who deserve First Amendment rights too.
Scratch that.. was watching wrong version. Damn Youtube duplicates.
Dan, sorry but that is not brilliant. It’s not even marginally amusing. Or biting, or scathing or au courant. We can do better.
By the way — can Rev. Jackson & Co. sue the NOMstards for using “Rainbow Coalition”?
oh god, the 1:35 mark made me guffaw
This was kinda funny, but I agree with 3. There are a lot better ways to deal with/handle this. As a matter of fact, a quick survey of youtube turns up several better rebuttals. I was already laughing at how idiotic and blatantly false the ad is, I’m ready to see someone countering it with hard facts and intelligent discourse!
How have I made it this far in life without ever having seen the It’s Raining Men video?
Hey, NOM has a blog now. That could be fun.
http://www.nationformarriage.org the blog link is up in the right corner.
It made me smile, but the one I saw last night was better. Thanks Jade for adding the link.
Slow, boring and not well edited.
This robot voiced parody is 10x better:

Now THAT’S a winner!
LOL — I followed the link at the end of the video and made an animation of one of Loveschild’s more drivelous rants. That was FUNNY!!! But I didn’t want to register 🙁
The NOM blog has a link where you can email to 33 Iowa legislators regarding the upcoming amendment to the Iowa constitution to ban gay marriage. The letter can be edited – like maybe to say the opposite of what their message is?
@7. You’re young still. I remember seeing that video in middle school and thinking that it wasn’t really “for the ladies.”
All I focus in on in how NOM uses the terms “Same-Sex Marriage” and “Gay Marriage” but they NEVER say “Civil Marriage” nor “Marriage Equality”. I also notice that lots and lots and lots of LGBT folks use those same terms “Same-Sex” and “Gay Marriage”. OH MY GOD! now I know why Civil Marriage is so hard to win, all the GLBT people are REALLY part of the Radical Religious Extremist movement. OH NOooooo
Cute, but I still like this NOM music video the best:

@9. Woot! You’re welcome, Kim.
I love that these stupid companies make it to easy for us to hijack their system to send our own message…
Hilarious, Dan.
No, it is perfection. Dan is right. It doesn’t make, you know, a cogent pro-ssm-marriage rebuttal, no, but it fills me with screaming glee. It’s art that way.
This video is no longer available. I suppose that is to be expected. I wonder if any saved a copy and can repost it to youtube.
