It may be true that the Bears are the most overrated team in the NFL.

Chicago Fan’s sports-related acumen once again shines through.
I got the impression that the final result was really random, and if the game had gone on longer the Seahawks could easily have lost it, or lost it and then had the Bears go on to lose it again, ad infinitum. The only reason one team won was because somebody has to.
The only football team in this town worth a damn doesn’t play gridiron.
Fnarf, you got to enjoy the World Cup on SLOG, as well as a lot of threads about the Sounders. Let the gridiron folk have their fun.

and the final result wasn’t random, Seattle dominated the whole game, the score was close because they had a runback for a TD at the end of the game and the outcome wasn’t in doubt by then

I’m not going to go on some “football is better than soccer” rant or vice versa, because I don’t believe that’s true. There is a place for both, and I’m glad Seattle has both. It’s insufferable twats who have to assert the superiority of one over the other that piss me off.
@16, you missed my point. I’m just giving y’all a hard time because your preferred version is sucking so hard, yesterday’s win not withstanding. It’s not that my SPORT is superior; it’s that my TEAM (Sounders) is so superior. Nobody in the NFL seems to be able to, or even want to, play three halfway-decent games in a row. Yesterday certainly doesn’t count.
