  1. At this point, MSNBC pointed out, Obama has 200 ev’s called; with California’s 55, Washington’s 11 and any other state with 4 or more ev’s (Hawaii, Oregon, etc) the election is basically a big O, as in over.

  2. I just got home, opened up my computer, saw this, and burst into tears.

Yeah, I’m a big wimp. But so is my ex-Marine combat veteran bear of a husband, because he’s bawling too.

Oh please, oh please, oh please….

  3. I checked, apparently they still haven’t had precincts reporting from Cuyahoga or Lucas Counties in Ohio. I live in Lucas County. Not only is it a university county, there were tons of college students voting today. Wait was an hour and a half at one point. Cuyahoga is the county where Cleveland is and that’s a huge Dem stronghold.

  4. If Obama holds the Kerry states, he’s got it! Easy, Obama wins… Obama wins. (He’ll win Iowa too for sure).

They’ll call it soon enough, but it was over as soon as this thread was started.

  5. Look at the votes there, WTF. A few thousand. NM has already been called by all three networks and Fox for Obama.
    PRESIDENT-ELECT OBAMA!

  6. NPR just reported that although gramps and Obama are basically tied in VA retunrs from Fairfax and Arlington aren’t in yet.

VA oughta be a lock if this is true.

  7. Way to go, O-hi-o! What a sea change compared to the last two presidential elections. I was born and brung up in Ohio, and heard way too much rightwinginess from the 1950’s on in my childhood.
