The .22-acre park to be located at the northeast corner of E John Street and Summit Avenue E will be named Perugia Park, after Seattle’s Italian sister city, Capitol Hill Seattle reports. The city will break ground on the park, which will include a P-Patch, in March.

You’d think the community group, Unpaving Paradise, that raised half the money for the park could have gotten some consideration in the naming.

Face it, the Parks Dept is still pissed we kicked their person to the curb so it’s more of a “fuck you” to City Council and all us voters.
