Oliver Willis was the first blogger I saw on this, but it’ll probably be everywhere very soon: Not only was Mitt Romney pro-abortion while running for office in Massachusetts, photographic evidence suggests he was attending fundraisers for Satanic Babykillers, Inc. (a.k.a. Planned Parenthood) back in 1994. Now, of course, he’s totally against Planned Parenthood in all its forms.

Mitt Romney in 1994:

Mitt Romney, who has taken hits from his Republican presidential rivals for his change of heart on abortion, had to explain earlier this year a donation that his wife made to Planned Parenthood.

Now, his campaign is trying to explain a photo, sent to several news organizations today, that shows him at a fund-raiser for the abortion provider.

Mitt Romney in 2012:

“Mitt Romney supports the Pence amendment.”

Uh-huh.

  1. This serves to remind me that, as much as I would like to see a Democratic knight in shining armour, that there are very few politicians who are not scum-sucking bottom feeders.

  2. @1: Just be grateful that we only have to put up with this stuff for six weeks, not eighteen months. Aren’t you glad you live up here now?

(And hey, do you have your Harper lawn sign out yet?)

You bet! I put it in the litter box first, so all the neighbourhood dogs would want to pee on it…

Oy, I fear King Stephen won’t be leaving these fair shores any time soon, but yes, nice to have it over and done with on May 2nd.

  4. Wow… you have exposed the coverup!… Back in 1994, Romney was pro-choice. He has admitted to changing his position in 2004. What’s your point?

Other politicians who have changed their position on abortion:
Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Al Gore, etc. If you don’t hold them to the same standard you seem to portray here – then all you have done is expose the double standard for which you blog your “news”.
