Dear Stranger,
Thank you for putting Charles on SLOG probation and allowing him to only post small pictures he finds on the internet with a single line of text.
–Everyone
The photo’s an allegory, that’s exactly what you get for giving blood.
Charles made comments 1 & 2 (both brilliant) possible.
Shouldn’t that be coke zero capitalism?
@2:
But, when you give blood you also get a cookie…
Sign should read:
Sell your soul to China and get a free Coke.
Cause that’s what shopping at Wal*Mart is …
#5 – I actually read that as “cookie” instead of Coke for some reason, despite there being no cookies on the table, and Coke is clearly displayed. Things really line up in my head… my Slog posts, not so much.
Con: my credit score would decrease merely by APPLYING for more credit.
Pro: Hey, free Coke.
This might be good (if you actually like coke) if they don’t actually verify the SSN before giving you free stuff. Back in the early days of Target cards, they’d give a discount for merely filling out a form–it didn’t need to be approved. Just put in some fake information to guarantee rejection. Target quickly changed their policy, but then they were giving away a 10% discount (if I recall), and not some nasty coke.
Ah, I remember back when I applied for lots of stuff as Richard M Nixon.
Good times, @9.
What is this, freshman year at the dorms again?
I was thinking cookie as well the first time I read it. I wonder what that means?
It means you want a cookie.
