The news about Fiorina broke a few hours ago, but we just heard from Dawn Laguens, the executive vice president of Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
Her don’t-let-the-door-hit-you statement reads as follows:
Farewell to Carly Fiorina. It turns out Fiorina can’t flat-out lie to the American people about the nation’s most trusted reproductive health care provider and expect them to elect you President. Fiorina spent months defying all logic to demonize the health care Planned Parenthood provides, and it turns out voters have no appetite for it. Fiorina may not have cared much about the impact her lies had on the millions of women, men and young people whose care you endangered, but lucky for everyone, the American people do.
