But I’m going to go ahead and post this video to Slog anyway because I think it’s actually pretty good sex advice. And, yeah, that guy from Legends of Hidden Temple.

  9. I’ve never had too many problems using this method. I’ve struck out a few times, but rarely. But then, I rarely choose someone I think I’ll strike out with.

    She seems like someone who likely has a very small pool of people she’d strike out with, so I’m not not surprised the direct method seems like an obvious and easy solution to her.

  17. @10, yes, because the appearance of someone’s eyes is such a reliable indicator of intelligence. The best IQ tests just use a high resolution photo of your eye and the principles of iridology to determine your score. Certainly there’s nothing wrong with making snap judgments about someone’s intelligence based on their eyes. I mean, come on, look at that slack-jawed, dull-eyed mouth breather Stephen Hawking. What an idiot!

    Seems like you’ve got some latent sexism to work through. She may look like a stereotypical “dumb blonde”, but if you actually listened to her you’d realize she’s pretty clever.

  19. “Be direct, tell them you would fuck ’em” sounds like good advice, especially if you’re hot and female. But notice when it comes time to list the people SHE would screw, it’s all actors and fictional characters, instead of people she knows. The reality is that Jenna’s advice is a good way to be labeled a sex offender.

  20. I think the “we could pretty much just skate through life without ever having to tell anyone that you’re interested in them” was a pretty astute observation. Agree with the idea or not, I don’t expect that from youtube video personalities.

  23. She’s onto something, but she’s still a bit of a hypocrite. None of the people on her list are people that she actually knows. She’s still hiding, and she’s already given us the reasons why: she’s still afraid of what people will think. It takes no bravery to announce attraction to media characters, because there’s nothing on the line. Who are the boys & girls in her world that she’s attracted to? That would take some guts.

This particular video is a *little* out of her usual style; those of you who think she seems stupid or stereotypical or whatever sexist bullshit you wanna slather out there, notice that she’s got a TON of videos and a SHIT-TON of views. It’s not just because she’s cute (although the ones in her underwear probably have the highest hits, that’s nature). So look at at least ONE of her other videos and then give us another opinion.

I actually like her, and I think she’s giving good advice: be straightforward, don’t “protect” yourself from rejection just because you’re a girl, actually learn to deal gracefully with rejection (guys or girls, there’ll be a lot of it throughout life, in sex and elsewhere). I would indeed have preferred if she actually listed guys she actually knows rather than only TV stars. But yes, it would be a better world in which people could be frank about who they would or wouldn’t fuck, without this being used as evidence of you being either a “slut” or a “sexual predator” or a “harasser” and what not.

    But then again, when will we ever stop being afraid of what the reaction of others will be? So, is it realistic to think her advice could actually become generally accepted? There, I have doubts. It would be great, but will it ever happen?

  41. Um, to everyone who’s saying they wish she listed real people…this is intended to be funny. And what makes it funny is that we all know the people (or characters or objects) she lists, and most of them are unexpected or incongruous. Comedy!
