I’m so happy for y’all! This really is a great thing for all of us.
YES!
Magnificent series here, dear Zeugma. Only ones I’ve seen that made me kick myself for not going. You can keep your floats and whatnot; give me a sweet crowd of stragglers in an ancient part of town when all the hoo-ha is over with. Beautiful.
The only way I can see the pics after the jump is if I click the permalink.
NY finally entered the 21st century. Hooray for Governor Cuomo and to the legislature, especially those 4 brave Republicans that stood against their party of hate!
Great pics! I love seeing all the diversity!
NO, I can’t see the Belvedere billboard because you have no idea how to take photographs. I assume this is special training you receive when you join The Stranger, to always shoot into the sun and avoid any ideas about composition.
OK, snark aside, I like the woman in the blue top even though she’s blurry. And it looks like a delightful event. There’s really something special to celebrate this year in New York; how about a nice marriage-legalization vote here in WA next year the day before Pride?
that second to last photo is great.
What are we proud of, again?…..
9: We are proud of not being ashamed.
(“What are we proud of?)
10
oh yeah.
not being ashamed…
we rock!
@11: How can one’s pride be excessively proud?
I wish I was there… what lovely pictures, thanks so much.. powerful pride indeed…a celebration of diversity..
