Um… Bruce Harrell is on the Seattle City Council? You sure about this, Dominic?
Because I just asked the City of Seattle, and it responded, “Who?”
(Seriously… try this game at home. Ask folks to name all the Seattle City Council members, and see how many of them come up with Harrell. This guy’s been on the council for over three years, and the last poll I saw had his name ID at like seven percent or something.)

Him and the old lady are the two all the consultants are trolling for paying clients by insisting are pushovers. Wyble landed a T-Mobile exec, who’s next?
Harrell is no push over. He has been a strong leader with City Light, technology and civil rights. He is the only official to question police actions after the shooting of John T. Williams and is pushing to put cameras on cops so we can see what actually happens.
Harrell will trounce this guy.
He’s the one who used to play football and referred to himself in third person while campaigning, right? And the cameras on cops thing that @3 mentions – I remember thinking, “hey, that guy! Don’t hear much about him but that is a great idea!”
And that’s more than I know about some of the others.

There’s this guy, the pro-parks dept. lady, the other gal who did the blog post about that Guardian editorial, the ex-cop, the old lady, tunnel guy #1, tunnel guy #2 (?), and the dude who’s like a skinnier, more handsome Mike McGinn. Is that it?
Whereas the other city council members have name recognition well above seven percent, even as high as eight percent, in one case. if you round up.
Based on the below from the 7/17/09 PI, it seems Meacham’s labor views are worth exploring. Here’s what one union had to say about the last T-Mobile exec who ran for city office:
