Gawker has a roundup of the most heinous drawings by Sean Delonas, the cartoonist responsible for this morning‘s hiLARious “stimulus- writing monkey shot dead” cartoon.
A few of my favorites:
Women: Lying bitches!
Heather Mills: She has one leg!
Rosie O’Donnell: She is fat!

Gay men—they fuck sheep!
Sean Delonas: Racist, sexist, and homophobic!

Maybe he could get a job as editorial cartoonist for the UW Daily?
Great post.
@1: Yes!
You forgot not funny.
Oh wait, I forgot, that’s usually our fault for not having a sense of humor.
I checked other cartoons by this guy as well. He’s fucking terrible. I’m not the world’s most sensitive person, but you get a sense of how much he hates other people from his cartoons.
It’s one thing to be offensive, and it’s another thing entirely to be a genuinely hate-filled fucker. This guy is one hate-filled fucker.
At first, I thought the monkey cartoon was just another bad cartoonist who failed to join two current events in a meaningful way. Now it’s pretty evident that he was using that ‘republican dog-whistle’ to try and say something racist under the facade of ‘humor.’
THe Rosie one is funny. Always ok to make fun of fat chicks.
I don’t know… i find the Rosie one to be enchanting.
ugh, i take back what i said earlier (below), the guy is clearly ignorant and unfunny with full intent.
**
i tend to think that the guy didn’t intend racism.
i also think he didn’t intend to be terminally stupid or unfunny in all of his comics.
finally, i believe he has succeeded in all of things
I worry about the kind of person who would find any of these funny… and then I think of my extended family tree and shudder.
I don’t think the first one is funny or offensive. Neither are represented to be stellar people.
Perspective for all the Horsey haters.
Reminds me of this: http://www.bushorchimp.com/
waaaah I’m a faggy liberal with no sense of humor waaaaaaah
What makes you think the man marrying the sheep is gay? If so, why is he marrying a girl sheep?
I can’t wait for that shithead 5280 to show up and scold us all for not having a sense of humor
@10: Horsey is just as unfunny. I just happen to agree with his points more, and he’s slightly less subtle sometimes. Otherwise, Horsey meh. Delonas, AAAAGH!
@13 This cartoon was in reference to New Jersey trying to Legalize gay marriage, and the classic dipshit fundie argument is that if you legalize gay marriage, what’s to stop the sheep fuckers, pedophiles and polygamists from getting marriage?
(That whole “between consenting adults” thing doesn’t seem to register with them.)
This guy’s shitty oeuvre demonstrates once again that when it comes to comedy, the only way to be truly offensive is to be unfunny.
You gave good examples except for the first one. How is that cartoon misogynist? In that one he actually has a valid point: Cheaters cheat, moral scolds are often hypocrites. cf. Ted Haggard, Larry Craig, David Vitter, Eliot Spitzer, etc. etc. etc.
3 for 4 ain’t too bad
The first one is extremely not funny. As in, doesn’t even make all that much sense funny. The second one made me giggle a little in a childish, funny pun sort of way. And the last two are repulsive.
And the chimp one, I thought it wasn’t racist (he’s implying that the stimulus bill was so bad a chimp could have written it), but also not funny.
Sorry, the Rosie one is hilarious.
Top one is good. Last person I’d ever listen to about comedy is the uptight ECB.
A backwards, unfunny, talentless contributor in the mainstream news media?
Say it ain’t so!
@1 nailed it, though. This ass needs to get in touch with John Fay so they can collaborate on some new project that will be just chock-full of ignorance and hotly-denied sexual tension.
is this the same guy who does the comic for The Onion?
Republican humor is like military intelligence.
When will we get cartoons showing Rush Limbaugh as a fat, misogynistic, sheepfucking, limp dicked, drug addict?
Top one is not so terrible. The rest are so terrible. What the hell is the point of the Heather Mills one? Am I missing something? An arms dealer tells Heather (for some reason) that he is a leg dealer, and so she goes to his shop to buy a new leg, and then she is annoyed to find out that he lied? Is there something remotely clever in there that I am missing?
@ #7: He might not have *intended* to be racist (as so many well-meaning Seattle liberals are), but the net result was still, well, pretty racist.
