On June 14 ESPN will broadcast a news piece about the two college wrestlers who got in trouble for making porn. Here’s the preview:

This seems like one of those mole hills that people want to make into a mountain. They’re adults, they don’t feel bad about it, they don’t feel used or degraded, so why should they feel ashamed? They should be able to finish their college careers in peace. That’s my $ 0.02.
Our freaking governor was in Playgirl, for crying out loud, and it’s not like these guys are in some tight-contracted beauty contest. I agree with kim in portland, this is an inflated story for a slow news day.
I’m one degree of separation from a number of women who stripped on stage to pay for their college educations. In this town, it’s almost cliché.
They should tell people to fuck off. I’ve seen them both and they are sweet! They didn’t do anything illegal or wrong and I’m one of the people they brought a big smile to. So, thanks guys!

Arguing about which one is hotter is pointless. Like peanut butter and chocolate, they’re two great tastes that go great together. Personally, Paul is my favorite, but that’s just because he not only managed to keep wrestling by transferring schools after his original university kicked him off the team but he also kept doing porn. These boys give me so much hope for the future being the type of place I imagined when I was in college.
If some girl can sell her virginity to the highest bidder to pay for collage why cant these guys do a porn? Get over it, people like to see other people naked … its fun.

I don’t understand the interviewer’s question about finding a “safer way to make money.” Is posing in the nude dangerous? I suppose it might be if the camera is full of bullets and not film; even so, the most dangerous thing I can think of is getting a rash if they used unwashed sheets during the photo shoot. Am I wrong?

After the “Victory and Ruins” series in the Seattle Times, the hypocrisy of this situation is even more laughable.
@15: Actually the interviewer asked if there was “a less risky way to earn the money”.
I’d say that he was referring to the ‘risk’ of negative fallout from school officials if/when they found out.
I wonder if the reaction would have been different if they had posed for a website that was geared toward/frequented by straight women rather than gay men?
It shouldn’t make one whit of difference, but somehow I think in the minds of their critics that it does.
I think this is further evidence of Dan’s insistence that “we’re winning”. I don’t know whether these guys are gay or straight, but the fact that they’re willing to talk about posing on a gay porn site – and are unashamed about it – suggests that even in the Midwest, kids don’t regard the gays any differently than the straights.
#7: AGREED! The blond Paul is sex on a stick! And, 9 out 10 gay porn sites agree! When this story broke last year, it was Paul’s handsome mug that made the rounds. The “Fratmen” site never had so many hits! I didn’t know about the other wrestler until way later.
Didn’t care for the interview’s clinic terminology: homosexual, masturbate, etc. Made it all seem sordid.
I went to Nebraska and never knew they guys, but shot a message to Kenny on Facebook after the whole thing broke on the news siding with him since the whole thing was way overblown. He seemed like a cool guy from his response (which I was surprised to receive)
Both of those guys just got screwed due to a conservative and uptight society back in Nebraska. Amazingly, guys can get DUI’s, beat up their girlfriends, etc. and never be kicked off an athletic team.
I agree with the Jordan guy, he did not hurt anybody. I do not agree with YOU, Dan. The other one is way hotter.

its sad that there are people sticking up for guys that posed nude on the internet….thats their body and its nobody elses business!!! Im not agreeing with the school for kicking them off the team and im not disagreeing…all im saying is its sad that this kind of stuff goes on
