You may need to take a seat: Seattle City Council member Sally Clark, who’s known for voting with the council’s moderate majority on every issue, won’t be holding a election party on Tuesday night. Instead, one of her staffers tell us, she’ll be going to other people’s parties. That is, Clark is doing whatever other folks are doing. But don’t be surprised: How can you expect a person who’s never even had a position of her own to host a party of her own?

Will people be raising glasses of milk in her honor?
Thanks Dominic. It had to be said.
Ah, nothing more charming than the “more progressive than thou” game, favored by everyone who can’t seem to get anybody who meets their standards to run for office.
@4) We totally endorsed Clark… and we endorsed Mike “Buns of Steel” O’Brien when he ran. Swoon! But we know how gus’s clock ticks: He’d never poke fun at the people/things he likes in order to point out their perceived shortcomings, right?
lolwut?
@4, never. Never more than every other comment. Strike that: when it comes to your work, every comment.
Damn.
Misleading headline.
I was hoping she’d come to her senses and was voting No on the Deeply Borkowski’d Tunnel.
Sally’s no Michael Taylor-Judd, but she can get elected to public office.

Get back to us when you adopt a position that differs from The Stranger party line, you free-thinking rebel, you!
