Snuggie™: The Blanket with Sleeves! What’s not to love?
And now: Snuggie™: The Seattle Pub Crawl!
In response to the stunning public embrace of the warm and cuddly Snuggie™, the SnuggiePubCrawl.com Team is hosting the first-ever Snuggie™ Pub Crawl in Seattle, WA. Even though it’s just a blanket with sleeves, we’re sure that you’ll enjoy a winter evening spent drinking with friends and the Snuggie™.
The date is yet to be determined, but the entirety of The Stranger‘s editorial staff has signed up to be notified. (We are, collectively, the 129th registered pub-crawler. Lindy West is especially excited.)
There is no immediately obvious way to inquire: Must one be EnSnuggied™ to partake in the crawl? Do homemade Snuggies™—that is, backward bathrobes—qualify? Only the march of time (so slow!) will tell.
[Before you get into a snit about this being blatantly promotional and Slog being Snuggie™’s bitch, please note that the Chicago edition of the S.P.C. is making donations to an orphanage in Tanzania. Surely the Seattle charity—how about a local one, like Treehouse, maybe? Childhaven?—will be announced along with the date. Snuggie™: It’s for the Children!]
Also: Thanks, Christine!

Will Slanket (the QVC version of the snuggie)-wearers be invited to attend, or will we be shunned?
I’m of the mind that home-made Snuggies and Slankets would dilute the ideological purity of the event. Anyone can put a bathrobe on backwards; only Snuggie could turn that into a multi-million dollar enterprise.
I’m sure there will be a competing Slanket crawl.
Can we bring Jaquin Phoenix with us even if he wears a Navaho Poncho?
Seriously? Y’all have so few hobbies that drinking while wearing a blanket is considered an entertaining event? Maybe you could watch some paint dry to top off the evening.
I always like to wear Huggies under Snuggies.
I’m not going to lie.. I’m looking forward to the reports of people breaking their faces because they chose to get wasted while walking with a blanket underfoot.
Also, those Snuggies will be FILTHY.
If I know about it, I might show up in my bathrobe.
I don’t think they have a dress code at tonight’s Washington Bus event at Moe Bar, which supposedly has some Spokane guy doing rap songs.
Sadly, I’ll be missing it, but it’s from 6 to 8 pm.
SNUGGIE = AWESOME!
no make shift business. it’s the real deal or nothing. Plus they are like 15 bucks @ bed bath and beyond!!!!!!

WHOA, what up, JUDGEY LOLA?!
I’ve never used a snuggie, but I can vouch for the awesomeness of the Slanket.
Possibly even more boring than that Abraham Lincoln pub crawl.
wow seems like nobody here has a sense of humor what so ever.
just the thought of a snuggie is funny. just people going out having a good time AND being able to laugh themselves.
I say awesome idea
I would go just to see the face of anyone who wandered in who wasn’t aware of the pub crawl.
w7ngman, you’re too young to be a grouchy old fart. lighten up, puddinhead.
I hope the snuggie pub crawl continues well into baseball season. How awesome would it be to see a crowd of snuggie clad fans at Safeco? Just like the commercial! It would also be funny if you all decided to go see a show all on the same night. I know I would be a little freaked if I went to a show and everyone in the crowd was clad in a robe.
Ooh, pink snuggies at the Mariners night!
@17 now that is the snuggitude we all need
Let’s do something more interesting, like glue quarters to the ground in a busy place. Far more entertaining, and you can still drink.
Walgreens got Snuggies now. No more mail ordering.
