My partner and I are probably the only listeners of your podcast in the most unlikely places like the wilds of Orissa and grain markets of Punjab in India. We are activists and film makers and VERY VERY BIG fans of your podcast. We travel constantly and make films but no matter where we are, we listen to the “Savage Lovecast” every week.
We recently made a short film, kind of by chance and a bit far from what we are normally involved in (environmentalism). It’s shot in an Akhada (a traditional Indian wrestling school) in Delhi. It’s erotic and visually beautiful, I am sure the gay community would love it. Would you have a look and see if it’s worth sharing?
Love from a hot and humid Gujarati town!

Whether you think it’s erotic or not, the cinematography was beautiful. The cellphone photo aficionados on the Stranger staff could learn a thing or two.
Definitely worth sharing.
That was fantastic. What you said, RP @1. Never seen a nicer accompaniment to the hare krishna refrain, either.

Whoa. Gorgeous.
Sexy and gorgeous. Thank you, Chintan and Jason!
That’s unbelievably beautiful and powerfully erotic. Thanks for sharing.
It’s completely appropriate, but the way it made me feel made it seem not safe for work.
Would the wrestlers themselves mind this video being advertised towards “the gay community?” It’s a beautiful film and all, but would they have consented to be filmed if they knew the filmmakers were going to send it to a smutty sex columnist? I love smutty sex columnists and accidental erotica and all, I’m just a bit worried about consent in this case.
@8: I remember a while back, Dan Savage ran a letter asking about whether someone should feel guilty climaxing while thinking of people they know personally but aren’t sleeping with. Dan’s response was that no one can control who masturbates to you, if you are hot and you walk past someone on the street, you can neither control, prevent, or even know that the person who walked past you will think of you erotically.
This sort of falls into that category. The film is perfectly innocent, it is aestheticizing these men’s lives, and it does so quite well. Whether you choose to watch it and admire or watch it and feel arousal aren’t up to anyone but you.
They need to make a HUMP video!
Nicely done wrestling film; a little light on the eroticism tho. I get more out of MMA.
What 9 said. Whether or not it’s erotic to you is up to your own personal inclinations. I think this is a tasteful video that’s beautiful regardless, but is it hot to me? Yeah, super hot. But either way, the men in this video are being shown in an artistic, respectful light, IMO.
Men are gorgeous … all shapes and sizes.
Thumbs up. Very well done.
