This week brings us a holiday-themed smattering of oddity, from John Waters’ Christmas show to the “ugly sweater” edition of Inferno at Neighbours, plus LED animals, a Frank Sinatra birthday bash, and some sort of dragon/magician/comedian.

TUESDAY

1. Wildlights
After you spend the day visiting real animals at the Woodland Park Zoo, enjoy this display of creature shapes, brightly lit by thousands of LED lights.

2. Zappa Plays Zappa
Zappa heir apparent (well, really, just heir) Dweezil performs weird-rock icon Frank Zappa’s catalogue with an airtight band.

3. Lost & Found with Trimpin
After an 8-week workshop with Trimpin (renowned local sound artist and sculptor), artists unveil their newly created instruments made out of “lost & found” items.
