tshhh….I had to stop at 2 minutes. I was cringing so badly. Aren’t comedic intros supposed to be shorter?
what are you talking about? that was hilarious! i watched the whole thing and kept waiting for it to get bad, but it didn’t. sure, there were a couple of flops, but he didn’t focus on them too much. he reminds me of an older and more irish version of pres. clinton
LMAO! ! simply genius. The morris joke had me aching from all the laughter. Biden is not only this nations Vice President but he’s also this nations First Comedian!

At work, can’t watch, but isn’t berating your audience for not “getting it” Bill Maher’s schtick?
You’re a fucking idiot. That was surprisingly good if not down right hilarious.
He was witty, self-deprecating and very good at making fun of those to whom he was speaking and still getting BIG laughs.
If you didn’t think it was funny, it’s a problem with you, not with Biden – and the audience agrees.
That wasn’t the funniest thing ever but I would hardly call that a total bomb. The best part though was the sexy Ted Kennedy flop (too soon?) followed by a shot of really uncomfortable looking Jessee Jackson and Bill O’Riley sitting next to each other- that is pure comedy gold

Honestly, David…I think he did a fairly decent job–both as an untrained comedian…and considering that he’s Joe Biden.
The jokes are tailored for the awareness of the audience at hand. The timing and delivery is there. He’s aware of WHY what he’s saying is a joke, so he hits the punches well. He’s self-deprecating. Even his chiding the audience from time to time seems more of an homage to a particular style of comedy–SHOWING A RATHER SURPRISING KNOWLEDGE OF A PARTICULAR STYLE OF COMEDY–than actually berating the audience for not getting a joke (and usually, he’s not covering up for a joke bombing…he’s reacting to the crowd reacting to a politically sided joke with mock outrage.)
There are a couple of jokes toward the end of the slideshow that fall flat…but one of them, at least, seemed to be more of a timing/coordination issue with the person running the slideshow…
I love you to death, David…but “Bombing” is an entirely different thing than this…
It was funny. The only cringing I did was that some of the jokes were somewhat vicious!! But rather accurate and funny…
