This goes for everything ever.
Pretty good. I’d put Twitter somewhere between a 7 and an 8 on that graph (probably a bit closer to 8). Cool.
It’s a mountain of ice cream!
Molly moon ice cream?
That’s so meta.
Is this graph intended to represent topics discussed on Twitter, or Twitter itself?
Personally, I’d be happy to see Twitter go the way of Friendster.
For one thing, the terminology (“Twitter”, “Twit”, “Tweet”, “Twat”) is fucking stupid and annoying. You can’t talk about this technology without sounding like asshole.
And Twitter is redundant. Facebook gives me status from friends, places, groups, and celebrities I care about. Facebook, RSS, and blogs give me pointers to interesting and zany Internet content. And now we’re all supposed to drop everything and switch to Twitter because, um, why?
It would be helpful to note that this graph was created based on her observation and no actual data…
This makes me very happy. Thank you, Mr. Hecht.
I’m sure someone out there is still using ICQ and IRC, too.
It doesn’t make it any better.
