I first became aware of porn star Mary Carey during her 2003 run for California governor, but didn’t really get to know her until her season-long stint on VH1’s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, where she ‘fessed up to the hardcore substance abuse that helped make her career in hardcore porn seem like a good idea, and tearfully vowed to put her substance-soaked sex work behind her.

Interested parties may watch the Celebrity Pornhab with Dr. Screw trailerโ€”featuring a less-than-sober-looking Careyโ€”here. Final word comes from Xbiz:

“For those of you wondering about my feelings about Mary [Carey’s] choice to mock: Res ipsa loquitur,” the real-life Dr. Drew Tweeted in response to the new title. “[Pornhab] makes me very sad.”
