The NRA should give this man an award of some sort:

Ronnie Lee Gardner chose the method by which he is scheduled to be executed at midnight tonight: death by firing squad. 1. If you are going to accuse the NRA of supporting gun using murders then you will of course admit that you as a liberal support all eco-terrorism right?

  2. Firing squads are considered more humane than lethal injections not only because the accused dies more quickly, but also because the chances of a fuck-up are next to nil. There are plenty of trained and willing shooters out there. Lethal injections, on the other hand, are frequently banjaxed, which is probably at least partly due to the fact they they are performed by people without medical training. Doctors and nurses are prohibited from participating in executions by professional organizations (and the Hippocratic Oath).

Other fun facts about this case:

    1. One of the guns used by the five-person shooting squad will be randomly loaded with a blank so no one knows who actually made the killing shot.

    2. Members of the shooting squad will receive commemorative coins once the deed is done.
