We, with the xx chromosomes, have been patiently waiting out our revenge on men for quite some time now. Soon they will be the ones stuck in the kitchen.
You have been warned.
Ha! Made me think of the gender wars in Calvin & Hobbes between Calvin and Susie Derkins.
…We are, you know. Women still have the longevity edge. Not to mention intelligence, kindness, etc.
I knew it.
Damn.
Cribbage throwdown, I’m guessing.
Yes, but a minor punctuation change can save us!
You’re jumping to conclusions. The dash before “Girls” was not in the original. Heh heh heh.
It would be much more sinister if the “i” had a little heart on top of it.
@7 for the chromasomally-challenged second place. Because only girls win this one.
Cute. But seriously, no we’re not.

I’m guessing this is a photo of inside Dan’s son’s treehouse, am I right?
girls – they run this mother…
What the @*£”&¢©!!
I like the kitchen, but then:
“Guys like to do things. This explains everything from the space shuttle to mailbox vandalism.”

Of course we’re all doomed, and according to Dave Sim we already live in a matriarchy . . .
It starts with the hopscotch smackdown.
and it’ll end when we foursquare you into oblivion.
@14, 15: Guys play REAL sports on pavement. Street basketball, anyone?
Care to elaborate, miss?
Ah, the war of the sexes!
At least we get to pull girls’ hair. 🙂
Why is there a Youtube hotlink to some old Republicans doing a fingernails-on-blackboard cover of a Beatles tune embedded in that picture?
I agree with #7. They should have added a heart or smiley face to make it more sinister.
Hmm, just because it’s signed “Girls” doesn’t mean it’s directed to all boys, nor that the “Girls” in question are in any way responsible for the doom. The clearest evidence suggests it’s directed to whomever is reading it. It’s also a completely trivial statement: unless we ever discover a way to exist forever (quite possibly the worst thing we could ever do), everyone is doomed. Way too many assumptions/projections, given the lack of visible context.
All that said, I find this delightful. Girls typically don’t display this sort of assertiveness, especially when it comes to delivering bad news, so, irrespective of the intended and read meanings, it’s nice to see.
