The history of the world as told by some feet in Dubai:
The feet on the beach.
And feet in the bucket.
About the feet on the beach: “A refrigerated swimming pool and an artificially cooled beach – Dubai’s latest excesses are enough to make conservationists weep.”
About the feet in the bucket: “Located outside the city, the camps are hidden from tourists. But on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, turn right before the Zaha Hadid bridge and you are in the ghetto-like Mousafah where the workers dwell.”

Abu Dhabi and Dubai are different places, but yeah: both built by little better than slave labor. Another Pina Colada, sir?
You think the slave labor style camps are bad now, you should’ve seen how it was 15 or 20 years ago
I hope the artificially cooled beach keeps the upper crust from realizing how harsh the sun is and they then turn lobster red.
It’s not slave labor – they’re guest workers and indentured servants.
Can’t you tell the difference, Fnarf?
