Congratulations to all the winners of the eBay auctions!

If you won a Strangercrombie auction, then you probably got a message from eBay telling you about a party at the Showbox. However, that message is from a previous Strangercrombie (as in, like, three years ago), and shouldn’t have been sent out. We very much regret the error.

So again, there’s no party at the Showbox for the auction winners. I’m sorry. But you still get your prizes! Your glorious prizes!

Yay!

  1. @2 – Yes, of course.

The problem was/is with eBay. A “message to winners” notice from 3 years ago was somehow resurrected on our account and sent to the winners. Wasn’t sent last year, and we certainly didn’t set it up again this year, because, you know, there’s no party, so that would have been weird.

  2. Was a bit confused but I figured SLOG would have said something if there was going to be a party.

Also a quick Google of the party name came up with a post about the 2005 shindig with the same line-up mentioned in the “message to winners”.

Here’s a question though, when can we come by to pick up our prizes?

Sorry, I was being sarcastic. Then I realized that some of the stuff up for bid actually WERE parties.

I need to lay off the booze.
