First, there was a pepper-spraying at a Los Angeles Walmart. Now, an off-duty cop working security at a North Carolina Walmart pepper-sprayed a man, injuring as many as 20 shoppers:
Kinston police Sgt. Roland Davis said an off-duty officer the store had hired to help with security during Black Friday shopping used the chemical while trying to make an arrest during a disturbance.
Angel Bunting, who was shopping at the store, said a man fell into a display as people lined up for discounted cell phones. She said she believed it was an accident but security thought there was a fight.
Sideways video of the arrest is here:
Charles was right; we’re just all pepper-spraying the hell out of each other nowadays.

So what, it (pepper spray) is essentially just a condiment…. the “Spice of Life”, eh? Like PAM for the tacos…;-Q

Speaking from experience, being pepper sprayed is an incredibly unpleasant experience. And no, it was not by the police, it was as I was being jumped.
Oh yes, and pour milk in your eyes to neutralize (kind of).
I suppose I’m naive to hope that the guy in handcuffs was the one who used the pepper spray, rather than the guy who fell down?
Yesterday, I pepper sprayed all of my friends at Thanksgiving dinner. But that was due to bad cooking skills.
If they really want to disperse a crowd they should arm the cops and renta cops with atomizers filled with “Gwen Stefani L”.
It burns sense of good taste, and my eyes.
Charles is always wrong, by definition. Don’t you read the Slog comments?
